Gauchos

Ferreyra: "No me conformé con leerlo cuando niño.  Tuve la necesidad de corporizarlo para sentirlo más cerca y más mío.  El Gaucho, nuestro gigante padre de las pampas y lo hice asi, como lo imaginé, como yo quería que fuera…como un pedazo de tierra."

"I was not content with just reading about Gauchos as a child. I had the need to give them life and form in my paintings in order to feel closer to our nature. The Gaucho, our giant father of the pampas, and so I drew him, as I had imagined, as I wanted him to be... like a piece of our land."​
